A reminder to all that December 27th sees our Under 9’s playing on the hallowed turf of Twickenham, during the half time interval of the Big Game 13, between our affiliate (and marginally more successful!) club, Harlequins and Premiership rivals, Northampton Saints.
2 years ago, at Big Game 12, I coached our then U9s, in their first match on the big stage! It was comforting for us, knowing that 200 Eagles fans were in that massive crowd of 82,000 cheering us on! It was pretty nervy for the kids and the coaches, but it was also huge amounts of fun, not only for us on the pitch, but it’s one of the biggest shows in club rugby, and has become one of the highlights of the rugby calendar, again destined to sell out.
