Saturdays: Waitressing and Catering assistant

Saturday functions consist of laying out the tables, serving usually a three-course meal to around 25-50 people. It is important to be able to communicate with a team and cater to the customer’s needs as well as being aware of special requirements. If there is time between clearing and laying out you are also expected to wash up and keep the kitchen tidy. At the end of the meal, you will be required to clear away and serve coffees. The hours are usually from 10.45- 4/5pm.

Sundays: Front of House Waitress/Catering Assistant

On Sunday’s you will serve hot drinks to customers from the rugby community and take food orders at the front of house. The usual hours are 9.15-3pm, during this time you will be expected to wash up, make hot drinks, clear tables and clear away at the end of the day. If there is a ‘team tea’ you will also need to serve food to players and clear/ wash-up the plates and cutlery when finished.
